New Patient Instructions
Visit the CURT Website
Visit the Compassion Use Registry of Texas (CURT) website.
Select 'New Patient Registration'
On the CURT homepage, locate and click on the option for 'New Patient Registration.'
Provide Personal Information
Enter your personal information as prompted, including your full name, date of birth, address, and contact details.
Upload Required Documents
Upload a copy of your Texas state ID or driver's license. Make sure the document is clear and legible.
Enter Physician's Prescription Details
Input the details of the physician who prescribed medical cannabis for you, including their name, license number, and contact information.
Review and Confirm Information

Submit Registration
Click on the 'Submit' button to send your registration information to the CURT system.

There is no state application fee. Once the prescription i entered into the CURT system, the patient is considered active.
