New Patient Instructions
Create Your Account
Go to the ND Medical Marijuana Registration Portal and click “Create Account.”
Start the Adult Patient Application
Choose “Patients 19 years or Older.” Enter your legal name (must match your ND ID), date of birth, ND mailing address, phone number, and email address.
Upload Your Photo
Follow program photo rules:
-
Plain background, good lighting
-
Eyes visible, no filters or glare
-
No hats, sunglasses, or other people in frame
Poor photos will delay processing.
Upload Your North Dakota ID
Upload a clear image of the front of your ND driver’s license or ND state ID. Even if you type in your ID number, you must also upload the image.
Enter Your Healthcare Provider Information
Type your provider’s first and last name and their work email exactly as given by CannaCare Docs. The system emails your provider and places your Written Certification on their dashboard. A typo here can stop your application.
